DRT Strategies Awarded USDA Farm Service Agency Information Technology Contract
U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency selects DRT Strategies as the sole prime contractor for its’ five-year, $100M Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide program management and support services to the agency’s Information Technology Services Division.
Arlington, VA – September 24, 2014 – DRT Strategies, Inc. (DRT), a leading provider of technology and management consulting services and solutions to government and commercial clients, announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) has awarded the company the Program and Project Management Services (PPMS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The contract value under the single-award BPA against which task orders will be issued is $100 million over five-years.
DRT will provide innovative solutions to support the USDA FSA in modernizing its information technology (IT) platform, software, and systems needed to enable successful program delivery, reduce costs, and gain efficiencies through common data services and self-service capabilities.

The USDA FSA modernization effort seeks to bring together disparate organizations, resources, programs, applications, and a diverse workforce to better serve America’s farmers and ranchers. This effort will enable FSA to deliver new IT solutions more rapidly, and also generate cost savings, improve accountability, and gain efficiencies in IT services for farm programs, farm loans, commodity operations headquarters staff, field office staff, as well as for the farmers, producers and ranchers.
